More and more men miss a feeling of real, lived manhood in themselves.
They suffer from too little aggression, willingness to conflict, self-confidence and leadership—about themselves and in their partnership. On ...the contrary: women have clear leadership in at least 80% of relationships in this country. More and more men complain about their emotional dependence on their partner or women in general. What are the real causes for this?

Bjørn Thorsten Leimbach has been dealing with this question as a seminar leader and psychotherapist for 25 years. While usually working on the solution of the above problems, he would like to present the psychological and social backgrounds for a weakened and insecure masculinity in our society.

In this lecture the “man maker”, as he is often called, speaks about the origin of the problem: childhood. He himself is the father of four boys and describes why boys have found it increasingly difficult to develop their masculinity in recent decades. Everything masculine is even withdrawn and suppressed from them through permanent female influence and one-sided mothering. His thesis: the lack of patronage by the biological father and the lack of male caregivers and role models is the main reason for a weakened and insecure masculinity today. He sheds light on the essential, feminist matrix of our society that prevents men from living out their masculinity.

This lecture is not only enriching for fathers and for dealing with children—it also creates an understanding of the influences that have shaped you as a man.

Bjørn Thorsten Leimbach is a prominent author, trainer and coach for
men. For the last 30 years, he has lead seminars and apprenticeships focusing on personality and management. Numerous therapists, trainers and coaches yield inspiration from his unconventional approaches and his provocative ideas.

His bestseller “Männlichkeit Leben (Live masculinity)” has become a guideline for the men‘s movement in the German-speaking world. In 1995, as a couples therapist, and together with Leila Bust, he developed and, since, lead the couples and tantra training LoveCreation®.
